The most wicked woman in film

Last week, I asked my fabulous readers "who is the most wicked awesome female character in film?" Thank you to everyone who nominated a character! Clare suggested Trinity from the Matrix, and I had to agree. 

​She's smart, courageous, and she fights for what she believes in. Trinity is also a computer programmer, and - let's face it - we need more female characters in popular culture who are into STEM.  Though few specifics are revealed about her previous life inside the Matrix, it is told that she cracked a database so secure that she is famous among hackers. At the beginning of the series, she is first mate on Morpheus' Nebuchadnezzar. As the series progresses, her primary importance as a character becomes her close relationship with Neo.

She is skilled with computers, operating vehicles both inside and outside the Matrix, and in martial arts. Not your common female protagonist, that's for sure!

Honestly, we need more female characters like Trinity - women who can fend for themselves and save the world at the same time. Now that's a story line I can get behind.
