Overworked author's have a bevy of NY resolutions. Here are mine:
1. Write more 2. Market more 3. Exercise more 4. Read more 5. Get more reviews for my book 6. Publish my next book 7. Figure out how I'm going to market two books without going insane Basically, I need a treadmill desk for my home. I'm going to look into that. Happy New Year!

Thanks for sharing the article, and more importantly, your personal experience of mindfully using our emotions as data about our inner state and knowing when it’s better to de-escalate by taking a time out are great tools. I toured Belvedere Senior Housing while helping a neighbor explore options, and it felt welcoming right away. The staff we met were kind and seemed genuinely interested in residents’ wellbeing. The building was clean and had a simple, comfortable atmosphere. It seemed like a place where seniors could feel at ease and supported.
